Moreover, only Super Admins can schedule the migration.

What locations are available for HubSpot data center migration?

Currently, the HubSpot data center migration is only available from the United States East (Virginia) HubSpot data center to another regional data center. HubSpot has 5 data centers—Frankfurt (Germany), Virginia (USA), Oregon (United States West), Montreal (Canada), and Sydney (Australia).

Can you lose any data during migration?

HubSpot ensures to secure your customer object records, historical data, workflows, reports, and analytics. But, there could be a variety of effects of migration on HubSpot tools. For instance, HubSpot Payments is removed from your account if migrating outside USA data centers. In case, you do not have any transactions, then HubSpot Payments too is migrated. Also, Sandboxes aren’t migrated, you loose them. Also, if you cannot migrate if sensitive data settings is enabled.

How long does the HubSpot data center migration take?

HubSpot capped the migration at up to 36 hours, but most migrations can be completed within 8 hours of initiation.

Can you cancel or reschedule the data center migration?

Absolutely, yes! You can cancel the migration completely two days before the scheduled migration and no data will be lost. Also, you can reschedule it from the HubSpot data hosting settings in your account.

Is the HubSpot migration tool safe?

HubSpot has all the safety checks in place. In severe cases of issues during migration, the HubSpot migration tool can revert all the data back to the original account.
