Optimization Score Now includes Shopping Campaign

Now optimization score includes shopping campaigns as well as search campaigns. Recommendations and Optimization score of your Google Ads account helps you to prioritize the most important actions. Hence, improve the overall performance of your Ad Campaigns.

To check the optimization score of your ads account click on recommendations in your Google Ads account.

According to Google, “Advertisers who have increased their account level optimization score by 10 points saw a 10% increase in their average conversions”

Google Ads Optimization score is the score of Search Campaigns of your ads account because it includes only Search Campaigns.

From Aug, 12, Optimization score of an Ad Account includes both Google Search Campaigns and Shopping Campaigns.

In this new update, you get recommendations for both Search and Shopping Campaigns of your Google Ads account.

The optimization score of Shopping Campaigns ranges from 1 to 100% just like the optimization score of Search campaigns.

If the optimization score of your Google Ads account is 100% then it means your campaigns are performing at their maximum potential.

This Google update says you are capable of seeing a separate optimization score for both Google Search Campaigns and Shopping Campaigns at the campaign level and one combined score of both at account level of your Google Ads Account.

This update comes with some new recommendations that are specifically for shopping campaigns such as, adding seller ratings and switching to smart shopping campaigns.
