Google conversion tracking display what customers do after they interact with your ads and landed on your website. Whether they purchase your products, signup for newsletter, download your resources or call to your business. When a customer completes an action defined by you which is valuable to you, those actions are called conversions. Tracking these conversion actions shows you how well your ads are performing on those valuable actions.
Default Google allows you to create the conversion actions under Tools -> Conversions as shown below-
It’s not easy to measure the success of your campaign with the goals you’ve created. To make this easier to measure the progress, Google announced the new update here.
The announcement says now advertisers can set-up the conversion tracking during the campaign creation.
If you don’t see the step to create conversion tracking while creating campaign, you’ll get to see the new step to create conversion action. Google will send an email about how to set-up the conversion tracking completely, like place a global site tag or event snippet on your website.
